Look around the room and see who is available.  See who is looking in your direction and what the quality of the talent is.  There is not much point hanging around in a place where there are no girls or girls that are with 100 guys.  If there is no one to approach go somewhere else and have a look there.  If you are out looking for girls I am sure there are many places you are already aware of where there is lots of talent.  But if there are some prospects then let’s try a few simple techniques to learn how to approach a girl you fancy.

How to approach a girl – Tip 2.  Flirt.

Why not?  Look over in her direction and smile at her.  See what she does.  If she looks back at you and smiles then you could be onto someone fairly early.  Why not give her a little wave?  It might seem a little silly but picking up girls is about having a little fun as well.  When she looks back at you smile and give her a little wave and look for her reaction.  I have done that on many occasions and each time I will get a different reaction.  Some girls will look horrified whilst others will smile and wave back at you.  Now you have to see what she does next, does she look back at you again or completely ignore you.  Assuming you have paid some attention to who she is with, you are probably at no risk of her giant boyfriend coming over and punching your lights out.

How to approach a girl – Tip 3.  Dress up.

If you are going out for a night on the town and expect to pick up, then expect to make an effort.  Make sure you leave your yard clothes at home and put something nice on.  Make sure your clothes are clean and ironed and fit properly.  Girls love a guy who takes care of themself and makes an effort with their appearance.  If you are unsure of what to wear when you go out just ask a female friend.  If you haven’t got any, then ask the girls at the local menswear store what is hot now and buy it.  Another tip I was told by my ex wife’s grandmother was to make sure my shoes were clean.  You might not realise it but women have a thing for shoes and if your shoes are dirty then that tells them you are lazy and your laziness will probably be right across your lifestyle.  All for a pair of shoes that take 5 minutes to clean!

How to approach a girl – Tip 4.  Don’t try to impress her.

Hey you really have to be yourself.  Like who you are and practice being yourself.  Try to relax and not put on any crazy act pretending to be someone you are not.  You can’t maintain it and when you eventually drop your guard you are history.  When you are talking to her and she tells you a story whatever you do don’t try and tell her a better story.  Girls hate men trying to show how much better they are by telling them a better story about themself.  Remember when you are talking to a girl it is all about her and what she wants and is interested in.
