Another way to learn how to pick up girls at a party is to ask a female friend of yours, or even your sister, about current topics of interest that girls are talking about.  Do a little research before you go to the party and have some questions and answers about the topic ready to go.  That way you will be able to start a conversation that girls feel compelled to get involved in.
