Some gyms are full of corporate types and unless you are loaded and looking for a money hungry girl then I would also try and avoid those gyms. Look for a smaller gym in your area where lots of girls go to do their workouts and start making yourself a regular there.

Before you rush into picking up the first girl you see at the gym make some observations. If she is married or the owners’ girlfriend then you are probably wasting your time. Try and work out if she is single and on the market. Say hello to her when she arrives or goodbye when she leaves and strike up a bit of a friendship. If she shows any signs of being interested in you at all then it is worthwhile pursuing her. Being in a gym you have to be a little more subtle than if you were trying to pick her up in a club.

That doesn’t mean you have to wear all the top designer clothes but if you have a bit of a tummy then you might want to hide that whilst you are working out. If your butt is a little saggy wear loose fitting clothing so that isn’t obvious either. Whilst you don’t need designer clothes you need to make sure your clothes are clean and not full of holes. Remember you are at the gym and trying to pick up; you are not working in your back yard. Not only should you be dressing correctly but don’t forget all those other things that you should be doing. Ensure your hair is cut; you have deodorant on and don’t be scared of wearing a little cologne as well. You might as well smell good while you are sweating.

If you see her using some weights then offer to spot for her. We all need assistance when working with weights and having a spotter will allow you to work that little bit harder and push yourself a little more. You can push up to your maximum weight and burn out with no fear of the weight landing on your chest. That beautiful girl you have had your eye on will really appreciate you helping her out.
How to pick up girls at the gym – Tip 5. Ask for advice.
If you see her using a piece of equipment and she seems to be pretty proficient at it, then go and ask her how to use it properly. Tell her you are unsure yourself and noticed that she seems to have mastered it and you would love her help if possible. This obviously gives you a chance to talk to her briefly and builds on the rapport of saying hi and bye to her each day.

If she is obviously having problems using a piece of equipment then offer to help her with it. Just as you asked her to help you she might appreciate a little advice and once again you get the chance to talk to her.
Because you are at the gym you really have to be a little more subtle and come across as if you are not trying to pick her up. Offer to buy her a drink at the end of a session and chat with her about her routine that day. Ask her if she is enjoying her workout and appear to just be interested in her.
