One of the most fun things a guy can do is to go out picking up girls.  Now that doesn’t mean you have to take them home with you on every occasion.  What’s wrong with a little bit of fun and practising your skills for when you really do want to pick up the girl of your dreams?  Once you have the phone number you can decide if you will follow her up later on, then move onto the next girl.  If you are picking up girls in the same venue as the last girl whose number you got, you better make sure the next girl is not a friend of the first and make sure she can’t see you practising your skills again with someone different.  Girls can go nuts and it could ruin your night and be rather embarrassing if you get a slap in the face.

Picking up girls is an art that we can all learn.  There is really no magic secret to it at all.  Girls really do like a guy with a good personality and the number one thing they all say they like is a guy with confidence.  So if you are a little shy then you will need to practice going up and talking to girls.  Just talk to anyone and it doesn’t matter if you don’t get her number.  In fact don’t even try to get her number.  Just have a chat with her and see where it leads.  The worst thing that can happen is that she will tell you to go away or simply walk off.  Who cares we are only practising right?

Clubs are generally the most recognised places for picking up girls but I personally find them a little bit loud and it is really hard to have a conversation.  I tend to go to quieter bars and look for girls that I might be interested in, watch them for a little while to see if they are with another guy and then simply walk up, introduce myself and have a chat.  Find something you might have in common by asking her questions and listen to what she is telling you.

Showing respect is another sure fire way for picking up girls.  Open the door for her, say thank you and please and offer to buy her a drink.  Pass her the towel, step out of her way or let he go first in the line.  When you are talking to her, don’t stare at her breasts but rather look into her eyes and she will soon see you are a guy that can be trusted and someone who is not ‘like all the other guys’.  Be friendly and do your best to enjoy talking to her.  Make her feel like she is the most important person in the world and hang on every word she says.

Make sure you look and smell the part if you are looking at picking up girls.  You really have to put on your best clothes and your best cologne and stand proud with your shoulders back.  Look good and feel good is really the way to go.  If you feel confident, dress appropriately and smell nice then you will find most girls more than happy to talk to you.  Whether it goes any further will really depend on what she is looking for.  If she is single and you have shown her some unique qualities then who knows where it might lead.

The best tip you will ever get for picking up girls is to be honest with them.  Don’t bullshit to them and make up some ridiculous story about yourself and what you do for a living.  Sooner or later she will find out and then you are history.  Honesty is way up there on the list of what girls are attracted to.  If she is talking to you tell her the truth about where you come from and what you do for a living.  If you don’t like your job, then be honest but don’t whine and complain about it.  Just say you are not happy with it at the moment and looking around for something different.

Probably the most important thing for picking up girls is to actually get out of the house and go somewhere girls might be.  You are highly unlikely to find the girl of your dreams knocking on your door and asking you out.
