Believe it or not there are lots of single girls out there looking for a guy just like you to walk up and say hello to them.  You need to find where they are hiding.  To work that out just ask where you have seen girls before?  The answer is pretty simple – they are everywhere.  You will find girls in all the usual places but don’t forget about coffee shops, book stores and libraries to name a few.  You will find girls at football matches and baseball and these can be great places to pick up girls.  For a start they already share an interest with you and going to the game with a girl can be as much fun as going with your mates.

How often have I heard a guy complaining about how long it takes his girl to get ready before they go out?  Why does she take so long?  Well think about it in reverse.  How long does it take us guys to get ready to go out?  5 minutes maybe!  If we take a little more time to get ready and consider what we are going to wear out and look good, rather than just throwing something on, then our pick up rates will increase dramatically.  Go to your wardrobe and have a look at what is in there.  How old is the stuff?  Maybe it’s time to update and get something that will make the girls water in the mouth.  If you are like me and have no idea what girls like, go to a clothing store and ask.  Tell the attendant that you want to look good as you are single and hoping to meet someone.  If that girl is single then bingo, you might already be on a winner.

Guys there is no point in looking great if your breath smells and you smell like you just crawled out of a sewer.  When you are buying your new clothes ask the attendant what her favourite cologne is for men and ask her where to get it.  Make sure you wear your deodorant and for goodness sake brush your teeth, floss and use some mouthwash.

Ok this one might take a little practice but is probably the single most important thing you need to learn.  Women love a confident guy and feel safe in their company.  The thing that gave me the most confidence was treating picking up girls as a bit of a game.  I would just go and talk to girls and see how many phone numbers I could collect in a night. It didn’t matter if they gave me wrong numbers as I was not going to ring them anyway.  It was all about practice.  And don’t forget guys that the girls are waiting for you to say hello to them.  That leads me to my next tip.

That is the secret of all secrets.  If you sit on your butt like a dead fish then you will never pick up a girl.  Sooner or later you are going to have to stand tall, shoulders back and walk up and say hello to a girl.  It is very rare that a hot girl will come and say hello to you so you will have to make the first move.  It’s not rocket science guys – just introduce yourself, ask her name and even ask if she has been there before.
